Ethical Designer Market launches this Saturday 11 Nov

A one of a kind event Fashionably Numb - Twilight Ethical Designer market is a free event which will be held on Saturday 11 November from 2pm-6pm.  The event is part of the Design Canberra Festival and is endorsed by Fashion Revolution Australia & New Zealand.

Just in time for the festive season, you will find amazing designer labels such as MAAK, Gabrielle Spencer Bridal, Rockstars and Royalty, PurePod, Cynthia Jones Bryson Milliner, Shar La Designs as well as interstate labels of the likes of Carlie Ballard and Barbara Wheeler.



Our team will also be there showcasing DJ's WeAreFoundActive, Janette's latest accessories collection The Statement Life.


Eco queen and TV personality Faye De Lanty from Fashion Hound will be at the Salvation Army pop up to show you the tricks of how to style thrifty.

The market will be held at the new 1 Diary Road, Diary Road Precinct in Fyshwick right next to Capital Brewery who will be serving up drinks and delicious eats.

Come and support our local and national designers and pick up something special just in time for Christmas.

After the market the will be an expert industry panel led by Fashion Revolution Australia & New Zeland Coordinator Melinda Tully, on the latest in sustainable and ethical practices in design. The panel will discuss how a product is made from the inception of an idea to a sale and how designers can positively impact the life cycle of a product.

Panel members include Freddy Choo, Retail and Marketing Manager, Salvation Army, Brian Tunks, Founder & Artist, Bison Homewares, Kelli Donovan, Pure Pod  and Jennifer Nini – Eco Warrior Princess.
