These are the wines I tasted in order:
2017 Riesling: described by a Melbourne critic as “summer in a bottle” this wine does not disappoint. It was so clean, so crisp and so fresh
2016 Riesling: this multi award winning baby is so delicious it’ll leave you coming back for more
2015 Sauvignon Blanc: this wine won a bronze medal and it makes you question how it didn’t win first! This wine is spicy in the best way possible and is a perfect combination of the two fruits blended together
2016 Pinot Noir: I do prefer my whites over reds but this wine made me reconsider my choice. This red is not bitter at all and went down so smoothly
2016 Merlot: this wine provided a unique and intoxicating after taste of vanilla which comes from the blend from the end of the barrel
2016 Wild White: last but not least, my hands down absolute favourite wine is this beauty. A blend of both honey and stone fruit, this wine is perfect with desserts as it’s sweet and fruity without being too sickeningly.
Everything that goes into the process is sourced from Australia and is environmentally friendly, right down to the recyclable tasting cups and the lightweight packaging. This makes her bottles the perfect size to carry in your handbag! According to her expertise opinion, the Pinot Noir is what’s fashionable in wine at the moment as the lighter red has been a crowd favourite recently. Sarah is warm, hilarious, professional and incredibly passionate and her energy is palpable. She loves tasting other vineyards wines and appreciating what others are doing. She was even so kind as to give me a pass into the gardens, score me a free sausage and give me two bottles of wine to take home (I now only have 1 bottle #whoops).
I wore a floral maxi dress and accessorised with jewellery in pink and blue tones which gave me major Spring/Summer vibes.
