On the weekend myself and Debby were invited to indulge in the renowned high tea hosted at the Hyatt Hotel Canbera - A Park Hyatt Hotel, with a fashion parade show casing key designers from this years Fashfest.
Naturally the first question on our lips lips was "what do we wear?".
When you think of high tea it conjures up feelings and thoughts of luxury, opulence and ladies of leisure.
With this in mind we dressed accordingly. I think you would agree Debby looks fabulous is this navy lace frock!
The mission
On the day we were on a mission. A mission to find our favourite high tea look. Why? We had a prize to give away which included a one night stay in the Park King Room, with breakfast included for two. This lovely prize was donated by the Hyatt Hotel Canbera - A Park Hyatt Hotel to extend that feeling of luxury to someone special.
Wandering the room there were so many gorgeously dressed women and we managed to snap a few for our entries.
Kelly Prail looked tall and effortless in palazzo pants.
Carly Reid added soft feminine touches with this gorgeous floral crown and chiffon dress.
Kristy Sharma opted for a classic feminine dress shape that highlights a women waist.
Aimee Myers turned to a classic colour combination navy and nude you really can't go wrong with these tones.
Charlotte Carrabs looked elegant in a white and cream palette. The lace detail of this skirt was divine and the perfect length for high tea.
The winner...
The Fashion Vault couldn't go past Charlotte's outfit. The skirt was perfectly suited to her frame and oh so appropriate for a high tea even. Charlotte was awarded the one night accommodation voucher so that she could continue her stay in luxury.
The Fashion Vault would like to thank our muses for giving us some more inspiration on what to wear to an event like this.
Keep dressing well!
