FASHFEST DAY 3: CLOSING SHOW 'SINGULARITY'

I had the pleasure of attending the final show- 'Singularity' of the Fashfest calendar and it’s safe to say that Fashfest 2016 went out with a bang!

Fleur and Felix
A mix of male and female models took the runway in a palette of black, greys and neutrals. A modern take on classic cuts and materials. All the pieces looked wearable and comfortable, a welcomed trait amongst a world of couture.

On the Go Sports
The models for On the Go Sports bounced on the runway. The colours of the activewear were both bright and fresh, a new take on the athleisure trend. This particular brand made me want to get fit just so that I could wear their clothes. One outfit that I particularly liked was a pink cycling outfit. It looks like I am now getting a bike.

Eder by Anna
Eder by Anna was my favourite. Every piece was classic but with a modern twist. There were puffy sleeves, peplums, high collars and feminine silhouettes. My favourite look of the evening was from this collection, a little black dress that I could see myself wearing to cocktail parties or weddings.

Stephanie’s Boutique
Stephanie’s Boutique lingerie brought a whole lotta sexy to the evening. Lace, chiffon and boosty bustiers embroidered with the finest of details were put on show.

Braddon Tailors
Braddon Tailors was a memorable collection for myself. It was slick and classic. If I were a guy I would buy all my clothes from them. And I loved the addition of the girls in blazers with a single row of pearls, adding yet another element to an already beautiful show.

SZN + VFP
And last but certainly not least, SZN + VFP. This collection took me to another world. It was filled with metallics and clever structures that complimented the female frames. A silver dress with an on trend off the shoulder look was one of my favourites, as well as a metallic pant and top set.

And last but not least, it is not uncommon for runway shows to feature an element of surprise but we were not expecting the night to end with a proposal! Producer proposed to his love (Backstage Manager) in the final walk through... our night was complete!
