FASHFEST DAY 2: SHOW 1 'PRAXIS'

When you think of a fashion show, you don’t often think much of it will be wearable but that’ll all we got from the Canberra Centre Show.

What you saw is what we’ll all be wearing when the weather finally gets a little warmer.
The hair and makeup wasn’t elaborate by any means – a decision by the big brands to opt for more understated beauty looks.

Decjuba
This show was a stand out from the start with the patterns noticed from the back of the very long catwalk.
There was a beautiful black and white print, floral, navy and a pinky peachy colour I am struggling to adequately describe.
White pants are a certain feature in Spring and Summer as are culottes or wide leg pants.
Decjuba has created a mix of casual and dressy pieces that all look really comfy.

Seed Heritage
I have walked past Seed so many times and never thought to go in – until now.
What was on show was feminine and flowing in muted tones and earthy colours.
The on trend looks such as the statement sleeve, cold shoulder and lace were frequent features, mixed with spots and other prints.
Attention to detail make these pieces attractive and my favourite accessory was the oversized hat.

Veronica Maine
We got stripes and lots of it.
Another feature again was the wide leg pant. Also showcased was a pair of black flares.
There was a lot of cold shoulder and bare shoulders in colours including terracotta, khaki, red and white.

Country Road
This is your go to for versatile and tailored, but not figure hugging.
There were the culottes, plenty of stripes and some pretty floral.
The dresses can be easily switched up from work and play and my favourite by far was the white flowing dress.
