Dressing For The Fashfest Front Row

There is an art to dressing for the front row and if you ask as us, that is half the fun of attending a runway show. It is the opportunity for the bold fashionista to go all out in a fabulous show stopping outfit and for the more humble fashionista to turn it up a notch and push the boundaries with some killer styling.

It's not just about wearing your fave designer of the night or  blowing your budget on the latest Dolce and Gabbana couture piece (unless you're Rachel Zo of course), it's about having fun with your look and taking the opportunity to express yourself and experiment with a new accessory, trend piece or a new silhouette you wouldn't normally invest in. It is also the perfect excuse to reinvent your fave LBD which makes you feel amazing from your existing wardrobe with some cool new accessories, a new pair of killer heels or a bold lip colour to get you front row ready.

To get you started we have put together a few Fashfest front row ready looks to inspire your inner style queen.

Dress to Impress - Sofia
Classic Collision Dress by Asilio from Rebel Muse
For me this Asilio dress embodies my idea of perfect front row dressing. The contrast of its bold black cut-out paneling against the classic white silhouette creates a statement without compromising comfort or a flattering shape for your body type. Plus this style can be worn again and again styled differently with a pair of flats or a blazer.

A statement dress is my pick because I like to keep my styling to a minimum and let the dress impress!

The Statement Bag - Janette

Wearing a statement bag for me is a big winner! It's exciting to the eye and it makes your outfit unique and POP!! That's what I'll be rocking this 2016 fashfest. Look out for my loud bags!

Take your cue to shine! - DJ

My front row pick is metallic. Expect to see me wearing a mettalic jacket, pants or a skirt because life is to short to blend in, it's time shine baby!

Femininity and Beauty All the Way - Debby

This look is beautifully feminine and the lace and culottes are so on trend. It'll also be comfy to sit in.

And when it comes to beauty effortless waves and a bold lip whether a pink or the very on trend ox blood.
