Initially I had reservations about investing in a printed skirt. My mum's practical sense of shopping has been ingrained in me since I was a little girl. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to wear it with much. So.... I decided to road test this theory.
Over the weekend I had a play with Bardot's new Delta Midi skirt in Leopard print.
This leopard print skirt retails for $79.95 and is made from a good quality stretch fabric. It also has a double ended zip on the skirt, which you can wear to the front or the back. In my book this design feature adds a point to the skirt's versatility.
Look one.
Black + leopard. This is the obvious and safe option for a printed skirt like this. Of course you could wear it with plain black shoes but I wanted to have a play with some statement boots and a vest to show that you can push the styling with this skirt.
To tone it down, add pumps and a black blouse and plain blazer for an office look. Work and play.. bonus points!
Look two.
Prints + Leopard. I know this skirt is easily worn with a number of block colours. So I decided to push the envelope further and show that printed statement skirts can be paired back with printed tops. You can play with bold colours to create a unique look. Another tick for the skirt's versatility.
Still not sure?
Think all white....
...sporty luxe ...
Despite a flamboyant print, this skirt is worth the purchase. It can be worn a number of ways making it a perfect fit for my personal collection and yours! .
The verdict...
PURCHASED!
