Timeless Style - Street Style Stalker -Melody Rusk

The ever-so-stylish Melody Rusk was spotted at the Bespoke Fashion Event held at A. Baker in NewActon.

Miss Melody fit in perfectly among many others at Sunday's leisurely fashion soirée. Melody paired trendy uniform colours, navy and maroon, spicing it up with a bold metallic skirt. Navy and maroon work great on most skin tones, and are essential during the cooler months.

She has added a splash of colour with fuchsia on her lips.

Her style is a mash up of new pieces and classic items she has collected over the years, such as her clutch and hat. Melody shops the way we all should: investing in classic items and buying trend pieces that reflect her style.

Outfit breakdown:
Hat: Dotti
Sweater: Sportsgirl
Skirt: Asos
Heels: Asos
Clutch: Witchery

Sentimental Style - Street Style Stalker - Marissa Ellison

Marissa Ellison was spotted at the Bespoke Fashion event organised by our very own Janette Lenk.

Marissa loves fashion so naturally she gravitated to the event which was for a great cause.

Her look is simple yet strong.  She has opted for a men’s style shirt and some killer pointed booties from Wittner.  She softens the look with delicate bracelets, and a floral style necklace.

One of her bracelets is a family heirloom that has a wonderful story. Her grandma received the below gold bracelet on her 21st birthday from her man (who she is still with). Grandmas Ellison passed this gorgeous piece on to Marissa on her 21st birthday.

Now Marissa plans to continue the tradition and pass it on to her grand daughter when the time comes.

See Marissa out and about in Canberra wearing outfits the are comfortable, practical and minimalistic.

Outfit break down:
Shirt dress: Mink Pink
Boots: Wittner
Clutch: Collette
Necklace: Colette

Bracelet 2: Family heirloom

Dapper Style

Paul Wojtaszak, sharp mortgage broker, looked every bit dapper in his outfit.

The 31 year old was spotted at the 'Compassion with Fashion' event. I loved his outfit combination; relaxed black jeans teamed up with a blazer and pocket square. Very guys chic.

Paul said, "I wanted to feel comfortable whilst looking well presented." That's just what I thought when I noticed his effortless style that he put together using brands from a great array of high- and low-end stores.

Jacket: Burton

Shirt: Connor

For the third year in a row Verve Promotions has presented a series of fashion parades at the ACTEWAGL Royal Canberra Show. This year the fashion parades were themed ‘In Celebration of Australian Wool’ which provided the perfect setting to showcase the latest looks from iconic Australian and international brands including, CUE Clothing, Country Road, Danielle Chiel, Sabatini, Lady Kate, Kookai and SABA representing Woolmark. Woolmark is the world’s leading wool organisation and the Woolmark brand is the world’s best-known textile fibre brand.

TFV's sofia polak styled the models with a modern-day runway look which added a street edge to the classic collection of garments. Hairstyling was provided by Dilkara Hair Essence and make up provided by the talented artists from the Canberra Make Up Academy. The looks were accessorised with local label Sash and Belle handbags.

Compassion with Fashion 2015

We were lucky enough to attend the Compassion with Fashion, event - proudly supporting beyond blue on the Saturday, 21 March.

We think it's fantastic that there are loads more fashion events popping up around town. Especially this one, raising some much needed funds for beyond blue. I didn't realise but lots of people struggle with  depression and not many people are aware of it and now I am.

Throughout the evening we listened to some stories about what some people have experienced with anxiety and depression. It was touching to listen to them, you could hear a pin drop.

My eyes were certainly entertained, there was an array of fashion styling and some familiar faces modelling in the show. We adored the sets by glimmering Rockstars and Royalty, Mussen, Enchante Bridal and Formal Wear, Sovata, Dissonance, ULE and Westfield.

There was so much entertainment throughout the night too with singing by Siobhan McGrath, who sounded like an angel (wouldn't mind her singing at my wedding?!) and dancing by Project Beats, so much popping and locking. It was jam packed with entertainment and am thinking of next years event.

One of my favourite looks of the night was this dress Paris wore! Ready for the read carpet somewhere, covered in sequence with a small cut out.

Love this man style styling for the women. Powerful, suiting, mannish sleek looks. I adore dressing like a man. Start with a boyfriend cut blazer and build from there, if you want to try it. The suits were by Yd and Target and ties supplied by Tied together (clever name).
A big thank you for having us!
